| | | I was reading about how the owners were trying to sell Bran castle, which apparently has no evidence that vlad ever stayed in it. Im curious if anyone has ever explored it,the poenari ruins or any of the other structures related to the romanian national hero (he IS a national hero by the way)and by explore i dont mean a guided tour. though given the geology of the area, that might be pretty hard to do for the casual explorer. alas, pictures would be nice! i know i could just google the pictures and whatnot, but it would be much cooler to find someone who has been there.

| | | Bran castle is a tourist trap, we pulled up, saw the Vampire Pizza and Hotel and just keep rolling. Sighişoara was very cool and the cemetery on the hill is really nice. From what I read all of the other places associated with him are ruins.

| | | Did anybody else see the Cities of the Underworld episode where they were exploring Vlad Dracula's castles in Romania? They showed the tunnels and dungeon under a few of them.
Stay tuned for Exploring the World with Insane Dick! |

I would like to have a private night exploration of the place. I contacted someone who told me they may be able to set up a private after hours session. I think it would be worth it, then again I have yet to find out what they might want to charge me lol
