I was in LA during the morning for some business, stopped by LV on my way home. Someone was filming across the street in a house. The place was open and I walked right in with my suit on haha. I only had my iphone and no flashlight so please excuse the bad pictures.

It was fun and I want to go back with a real camera and get some good shots.

#1 is the real deal. The others are fake sets, including the chapel. Fun fact: freddy's boiler room is in the sub sub basement. Last time I rigged lights in the building, though, that area was padlocked. Place used to be wide open up to 2 years ago. Pretty well sealed unless a show is running there that day. Better luck finding one between 7am-8pm than at night.

No not all. Just pointing out what's real and whats hollywood. It very hard to tell at that place sometimes without drilling a few wholes in it running cable. I was there yesterday and it was wider than a pat pong red light district street walker. But a show was there. Since so many people like it Im going to figure out what the rental is for an hour for sopex. The guy I spoke to who did weekends didn't speak English and a production assistant gladly translated come back Monday.

Ridiculous to think I would fake or steal pictures. I recognize the yellow room from the ER Pilot. Of course a lot of the 1st floor and basement are old sets. I could not go to the upper floors because the stairwells were locked up there.

The basement and upper floors are pretty cool. My favorite room is the records chamber. Not much to look at but great reads. Another fun fact: John Does apartment building complex in se7en was made from one of the upper levels.

If you're talking about 7 it had to be on a sound stage. Fly away walls and ceiling for lights and camera. Then cut into the hallway stuff. Boogyman 2 was done there as well with ever other no budget horror film strait to video. 50 percent chance everyday someone's shooting there. Just walk right on in.

Me and a large group of people on a late night bicycle ride(some may know what I'm talking about) made a stop at a nearby park back in January.
First time most of us even noticed this place so we took a look inside.
Quite impressive.

I believe linda vista is now under new management. I stopped by today to just get some exterior photos for a school project and some crazy non-english speaking guy came out of the building and started yelling at us even though we were on the sidewalk. He showed us his phone and called up the fuzz so it was time to bolt. Film crews used to be cool with letting you roam around, though there were none today I'm not sure whats the deal now. Has anyone been there recently? I need to take photos inside for a school project.

I was there in June and they were filming some show or movie. I walked up with my camera in hand and talked to the assistant producer and she told me it was ok to take pictures as long as I did not go near where they were filming. I was in there for maybe 20mins before they asked me to leave for insurance reasons since they said they rented the place and it wouldn't cover me. The place seemed to fake for my liking.

Even if the cops came, you're on the sidewalk. They can't do anything to you. -- We did that once when security yelled at us. Stood there for the longest time on the sidewalk waiting to see what would happen... nothing. Good times.

Going where others can't...

I went there not too long ago, there is one security guard that sleeps in a camper parked across the street, he doesn't seem to ever get out of his camper. I was able to enter one section of the building, but the staircases are padlocked, so it's hard to see all of the hospital

This is my favorite place to go. The place holds an eerie vibe. I came here at night and there was nothing more than a red glow of a light in a hallway. I got 2 amazing ghost pics from this place. I love it. A true piece of haunted magic. I got in through a narrow gated window no cops or guards but i was jumped by a hobo when i left. Plus many gangsters come here too so one must be carefull not to get jumped or stabbed.

That place is quite haunted. It has been on a few ghost shows but this one is by far the best.
