Any explorers in the Schwabach area? Schwabach is south of Nurnberg by 15km or so. There is a kaserne there now operated by the city and open to the public. During my stay in the Army I explored a basement of a building that was no longer there. As history suggested, it was bombed during WWII but the basement was intact. What remained was a large mound. There was a small metal door that gave us entrance. The basement looked very similar to the basement of the other 3 buildings that were all in a row. We explored it but there was nothing unusual inside. But! One room has a cartoon painted on the wall of German soldiers drinking beer at a large table. There was a caption in old German lettering. The uniforms suggested WWII era.

I also explored the underground network in the northern portion of downtown Schwabach. This is where my UE hobby was developed.
