Amusement park

Hi all,

Wanted to share photos from another trip I made a couple of weeks ago. I think this might be another new location, and it's completely untagged, so if you know where it is, careful about revealing too much info!

It's a small amusement park which had maybe 7 things to do when it was operational. I'm not sure how long it has been closed. According to info online, it's been closed for maybe a year, but when I was looking around it certainly seemed longer than that. The phone number for the place was disconnected... There is grass growing up through the floor of the bumper car rink. A lot of stuff is semi-dismantled. A part of one ride is stored nearby in a building I didn't go into owing to lack of time.

There aren't any more photos in it. If you look at the larger versions, apologies in advance for the noise in some of the images... I had to shoot some of them at much higher ISO than I wanted because my cable release was broken.

Enjoy!

In my opinion you post a location and what happens happens. There is no reason to tell people to watch what they say, granted you do post great locations there is no reason to think that they belong to you and no body should know how to find them. I located your last location and it was not that hard to do. That is all I have to say.

Easy... I'm not intending to lecture, so sorry if it came off that way. I know these locations are not hard to find once you know of their existence - after all, that is how I found this one. All I am saying is I hope that info that makes it completely obvious where they are can be kept off public forums - for obvious reasons. As I understand it, that is good etiquette around here.

As for keeping them to myself, I have no intention in doing so. I asked about how I could get the last into the location db, and same goes for this one. I want to share, but with people like members here who aren't going to trash the place.

Yes there are some members here that do cause damage to a site then they do just explore it. I agree with you on this point. On the other hand this site is intended to share the locations so others might explore them as well most of the members here respect the locations that are posted and would like to see them for them self. Again I am not trying to start any arguments just voicing my views.

It's just bad form to make it easy. This forum is open to everybody, including the people the may want to restrict access to the sites we love to explore.

That being said, great location with great pics.

I meant to comment on these, what a cool spot! I really like the shots of the rides against the trees in the background. It looks like such a great place to shoot. Thanks for the pics!

#1 is sweet i like the colors and i love abandoned amusement parks keep up the posts and for what its worth i agree with not putting too much information as to the actual locations like 76grinch said if you look its not hard to find where something is but vandals probably are not going to spend the time researching
