Anyways, this was my last explore of my 3 day trek to California.
from past experience, anything the southwest guys plan usally doesn't work out.. in one way or another or the plan gets modified. BUT whenever something is spur of the moment it has ALWAYS ended up winworthy ! Last night had been awesome and that was spur of the moment earlier in the day, and today all I did was make a phone call for some info, and it just so happened GoblinMerchant was coming back to LA and I was going to Vegas. So we met in the middle and gave Lake Delores a run through. We had planned to drive down to LA on Saturday and do it then, so I guess this worked out better !!
This place was always a dream of mine to explore before the slides got taken down. But even now Im glad I finally went and seen it.

sYnOnYx, yeah, I would be up for a night trip if I am around, a full moon would be great out there. I am glad we got to meet up, that worked out spooky cool.
The colors are amazingly vibrant under that Mojave sun, especially on #3. #12 still freaks me out like I am there again and the pano is the gem! Nice work!
I am going to dice up some of the video tomorrow (we burned 40 min of HD there!), I just need a day to recover from two weeks in Vegas!
I mourn for the slides...
