Hello from the Dirty D. My name is D'void and this is my first post on UER. Even though I'm new to the forum I'm in no way new to urban exploring. 10 + years and counting. I've been a lurker on this board for years. I stop in a few times a year to see whats going on around the scene. I figured this would be a good time to introduce myself and welcome any of you hardcore explorers out to Detroit.
Like I said I'm an old hat at this stuff, even though I'm not old (25). I know how suspicious you all are of new members, and rightfully so. Thats why I want to break the ice by inviting you to look at my website.

This site is a dedicated archive to Urban Exploring in Detroit. If any of this wets anyones whistles then please contact me. I often host explorers from all over the world as Detroit is by far the mecca of urban exploring. With some 200,000 abandoned buildings there is no shortage of places to explore.
I also know how much you guys hate handouts on locations so I am going to make an attempt to not piss any of you off here but...I'm headed out east this June and I am looking for a few really good places in each city I stop in. I'll be heading to Pittsburgh, Philly, Baltimore, Camden and New York City area. If any of you are so kind as to want to help a dedicated urban explorer with a few top notch locations please, PM me. Also if any of you would like to kick it and do some exploring in early June, please PM me. If any of you make it to Detroit I will graciously return the favor.

Constructed in 1893 in the once-elegant Brush Park neighborhood, this home, designed by architect Albert Kahn, was moved from its original location several years ago by preservationists who hoped to preserve it. It was demolished last year.

Yep, thats the Packard. I have spent countless hours wondering this place, even spent the night a couple times in there. Its a crazy place where crazy stuff happens all day and night. Its like a city in and of itself.

It's been on the to-do list for a long time now, will try to get a trip in before the border restrictions come into effect. Made a short trip about a year ago and have been wanting to return for a proper visit ever since.

However, my Detroit location list has grown to a huge collection, so I definitely want to make yet another trip.
