|  | | | I have noticed a complex with a huge fence around it in a housing developement. It is in eyeview from the 410 highway. Boarded up someplaces and glass smashed out other places. Anyone ever been? I have just seen from the road.

| | | | Hum, the only jails I know about in Sherbrooke are the Talbot Jail on Bowen South and the Old Winter Prison on the corner of Winter and Summer, both are far off I-410. Could you be a bit more precise? I-410 runs for 3-4 km. I know there's a lot of housing and commercial developments in the area of the "Plateau St-Joseph" at the northern end of the interstate (near the Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire). Maybe they are demolishing some buildings to build new ones.

If you zoom out on the satellite map link it should give you the idea. It is the group of buildings to the left with a perimeter around it. Left of that is the highway. I'll be out there Friday again and will bring the camera,to get a ground view.

| | | | Aw, ok! It's the former youth center. I thought you refered to another place. I believe this lot was acquired by Olymbec who want to demolish the facility (now this doesn't surprise anyone does it..) to build houses and condos similar to the ones that are already there (cheap mascarading as quality) and a commercial complex of some kind, the condition of the sale being that a zoning change occurs,..and that's about the extent of what I know.

| | | | From what I could see there is no fence at the front of the building, but that is also the residential side. It looks like the driveway has been plowed too, or that is where they turn their plows around.
