Moulin Rouge

I usually dont post on UER so Im going out on a limb here. I'd like to thank the Synonyx for the site. Interesting tidbit about this place - it closed in 1955 and held many great performers like Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra. A shame a fire ripped through the place just a bit ago. Its now a historical landmark.. guess that only means the sign though.

Ooh, I really like these! You maintain the rotting casino ambiance nicely and the shots are creative yet do not look too artificial.

I've been to there before but didn't have the proper gear. Was there any crackheads in the adjacent building? What about the people smoking across the street. Awesome photos!

That place is so bad, the bums dont even hangout there, Seriously.

Only traces we have seen is their were some newer food trash items.

Trust me, their are alot better places for bums to crash in out here.

Espically with THOUSANDS of empty houses.

Well as of yesterday the Moulin Rouge sign is in the Yesco neon graveyard. The bill passed to level the hotel after 54 years of decaying in the shadows.

Goodbye Moulin !

Brad did you drive by at all recently ?

Maybe its back to easy access ?

I spent alot of nights here, was one of the best location vegas had to offer.

considering there was 2 abandoned apartment complexes on this same property.

When I drove by it last I saw that there is no security those people we saw were really bums living in the abandoned old folks home so they just fenced it off and thats it seems. Maybe those bums can give us some info of other good locations.
