A couple of weeks ago me and my mates Mini and Martina went to check out an old holiday village outside Kungälv. The island, on which its located, is called Trälen (old Swedish word for "The slave") and it is well known around here.
It used to be a holiday resort for people working at Volvo. Volvo owned the place for almost fifty years but sold it about ten years ago and since then not much has happened.
There are plans to demolish everything and build new houses on the island so if you live nearby or pass through the area be sure to check it out before it is to late.

The place should still be there in March, the plans to tear everything down to make room for new houses has been put on hold once again because the neighbors appealed to the environmental authorities.
