	This place has a vivid history inside my head, so it's quite special for me... Situated inside a complex formerly called "Euroshopping" or "Europarking", now referred to as "City cancer" or "Stadskanker" by Somers' administration... Build to be ultra modern and to bring in the big bucks this project proved to be a dissapointment right away... Demolition will start very very soon, the memory will be gone for good but the pictures will stay in my possesion for the rest of my life... An "ultra modern" housing block will replace this once so fine and great building... This part (other parts will follow today hopefully) was called the "Nieuwe Stadsfeestzaal". A hall used by the city on various occasions. I have extremely vivid memories of the carnival parties going on there, as a youngster I used to attend with family and friends, dressed up as a pirate, or an indian, cowboy or whatever... Memories of all the fathers getting drunk and the mothers being angry at the fathers for drinking too much... We, the kids, aged between 5 and 12, didn't care... We could stay up late and act like real kids, occasionaly have a sip of our fathers' beer... So, this is an ode to the whole "Euroshopping" complex... Some people call it a city cancer and are happy to see it go... I for one am sad, another part of my childhood will get wiped away... Pure nostalgia, for me anyway... Euroshopping, I love you, and I cherish the time I spent inside your stomach, happy times... You will never be forgotten... (Did I get carried away here? ) Oh yeah, the electricity really still works... Some city fuck probably forgot to cut it off... I didn't mind...
