No, you are correct. There was pretty much no light source in the building whatsoever save for the ambient light leaking past the front doors and around some corners into black-walled rooms.
So 30 second exposures weren't enough even at ISO 400 in some places. What you have is ISO 800 and even ISO 1600 exposures in those spots, since I didn't have my "beefy" flashlight nor a remote shutter cable with which to do longer exposures. (Hey, it was lunchtime. And it was a shitty location.)
So yeah. They're noisy.
