| | | Has anybody heard of the old smelting mill in Hancock? It looks to be abandoned, but I didn't get a close look. It can be clearly seen as it is across the river of downtown Houghton. Quincy mine used to melt copper there.

| | | I heard there are some old school beer cans in there. And Asbestos, and a fence. It would be impossible to get in now.

| | | That is one of the few places on earth which inspired me to wear an asbestos mask. The amount of asbestos in the place is truly staggering. And yes, it is an old abandoned copper smelter. You may also enjoy the little tiny boat a few miles down the road.

| | | Dude the Goonie pirate ship kicks ass. And I didn't see any asbestos there when I put my hand over my eyes and peeked through the fingers.
