	i'm brandi. i'm from arkansas. i'm fairly new to UEing and even newer to this forum. while in college in memphis the Ue bug stuck and i started itching to get into these beautiful old buildings. in my freshman year i did get into the lamar hospitial a few times but never had my camera. i've had a few UEing trips during school and after graduation and i'd love to post my pics and stories (even tho i'm a metalsmith not a photographer but some of the pics are still good) i've got a few questions tho.. i have a few foulders from UEing in TN but i'm from arkansas, should i post them in the forum from where the site is or the forum for where i'm from? and also if i had permission to get into a space is it ok to give approximate locations.. like street and city? it may sound stupid but i don't want to get it wrong when i'm so new to a place thanks for your help ahead of time.

	If you are going to post photos, the photo board is likely the best spot. Usually it is a good idea to omit location information. That is you prerogative though. www.dkphotogroup.com

Hey Brandi girl. Welcome to UER

Post pics in the area they're are from or in the UE Photo.

Protect your sites! If you value them what so ever, don't post location, especially street names. Most here can find them with very little help or already have. Anyone can see this info including non-member vandals and looters.
Never post entry points. People can PM you if they really want to know, then you decide who sees what.

i was just curious because one of my sites is a well know store in memphis that i was allowed into the basement by the owners (who are willing to let others down there if your nice about asking)

Use your best judgment, but error on the side of caution. It never pays to make sites "hot", or cause the owners, or LEOs grief in the process of exploring I have found.
I sit on most my shoot sites until they are gone or secured, in order to not to cause harm to them, or aggravation to the owners.
Permission to shoot is always the best way if possible.
Each situation is different; just try to put yourself in the other person's (owner, leo, etc.) shoes, and it will bring you the correct solution 9 times out of 10.
Take only pictures, leave only footprints, cause no harm.

	contacts for permission are like gold, so don't give away the location on teh internets, else anyone (and i use that term liberally) can find them... and you don't want dozens of other people calling your contacts. imosho, of course. leave the gun. take the cannoli.
