| | Point Richmond...abandoned warehouse < on 9/15/2007 7:23 AM >
| | | We stumbled across this place on April 15th while looking for the winehaven winery. It's a large abandoned warehouse with lots of cool graffiti. Inside there was a second story office. On the far end of the warehouse there was another set of offices/restrooms. There was also a 60's nova wagon. Surprisingly, we just strolled right in. It was HUGE (about 2 football fields)
The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us? |

| | | Very nice, thanks for posting this. I love how vast it looks in the third to last photo, just a whole lot of empty space. Also, I do not know if you are aware of this or not but posting specific dates is not such a good idea in most cases since it can look incriminating. But anyway, your choice in the matter.

| | | so thats what it looks like inside. nasty. saturated by graffiti, I thought it might be. saw a bunch of idiots with spray cans leaving the site. what a shame. Took a peek a couple months ago but never did a proper study.
in regards to the Winehaven winery location at Point Molate, it is a very cool building. Scouted it out a couple times but security is pretty tight. [last edit 1/15/2008 10:08 PM by sigma - edited 2 times]

| | | Yeah, the place is pretty trashed, but still kind of interesting due to its size. I also like the old Chevy...
In addition to the old Winehaven warehouse at Point Molate there are some workers' cottages that might be worth checking out, but Sigma is right that security is really tight. I went out the about a year ago and ended up talking to one of the guards--he was friendly, but not to the point of looking the other day while we hopped the fence... | | | I also liked the old Nova wagon. On my first trip it was all complete. 2 weeks ago when I went it was trashed on bigtime. Oh well.
