Some places I've scoped out

Hey,
I just wanted to upload some pics of a couple of places I want to go check out. Let me know if you're interested in coming with.

So this is a church off of Notre Dame, I'm thinking of going to check it out in the next couple of days. (I took the pics while driving by, Sorry)

This industrial building is also in that neighborhood but I'm not sure when I'm gonna get to it

If any of you have already been there, and have advice (such as what types of security is already there) let me know,

that church is well known here... it's pretty boring since it's been burned and vandalized.

Do you know what makes the special sauce so special?

I was about to go in that church the other day when some real shady mofo walked out of there, he looked crack-out of his mind, my reaction, Abord!

The RCA (Toshiba) building is nice, the lights in there are mostly metal-halid instead of our regular high pressure sodiums and so are great for pictures.

Here are some pics of the RCA bldg;

if you want id like to climb on the roof sometime. It is an occupied building however, even at night in some areas.

I would definitely be down for getting onto the roof. I'm probably going to be getting a new camera soon...well as soon as I can afford it. But even before I get it I would be interested in going to check it out. Just let me know when

RCA is active and they rent space for 1$/SF. Good deal but if you want to use it for residential use, you need to build the toilet and all plumbing yourself. There is a Home Depot right next door but it's still a lot of trouble for a place you rent (ie the landlord will benefit from your little renovations and will rent for more $$ next time, thanks to your work...)

Watch out getting on that roof, I got a gash in my hand while trying to go around the barbed fence.

An easily accessible roof is the one at the base of the chimney, I spent an hour or so there laying on my back with my girlfriend, looking up at the sky with the chimney towering at our feet.

While at the RCA it worth the trip to take a look at the Musée des Ondes about RCA and Marconi radio.

The inside of the boiler room is nice, the old coal boiler have been replaced with smaller more efficient gas one but everything else is still there including the control panel and the coal hoppers.

Also the Studio Victor, the original recording studio of the RCA are still there and in very good condition with all the original mahogany panel, they are supposed to be one of the best analog studio in Canada and the console runs on an old apple program.

The RCA shows little change and renovation since the 1930s, if you pay attention you will find out that most of the original work is still there.

i appologize that the focus was on the green tinted guy and not the church. what i meant to say is that it was filmed in the church. i won't post anything else unless it has to do with a specific location.
