sure no problem, ill just use my xray goggles to see inside. Just because it looks abandoned from the outside doesnt mean they havnt been working on the inside gutting it out.

How do you think we do it???

For god's sake! How do you explore??? You just ask for others to explore for ya and then, invite you over when the place is clear?

Where's your sense of adventure? Where's your urge to discover a new place? Where's your social engineering skills?

POO-HOO.

*two thumbs down*

You're no explorer - you're a tourist.

So to answer your question : no, Dow is not accessible to you unfortunately. Construction began in April.

Thank you for your arrogant comments you guys are great. What is the point of a forum if you cant discuss things. In engineering we always say there are no stupid questions simply stupid answers, I guess the inverse is true in UE.

Sorry for wasting everyones time.

Here's the simple rules of this forum :

DONT
-Don't ask for entrance information
-Don't ask for a "shopping list" of available locations
-Don't expect others to do all the work and automatically share all their infos with you, especially where and how to access a new location
-Don't steal photos from other explorers
-Don't be an armchair explorer
-Don't ask for interesting abandoned locations cause you're a real estate/condos developper

DO
-Do go out and explore
-Do find new locations
-Do post your pictures
-Do share your discoveries
-Do share interesting information... but don't put how you entered a location in public forum.
-Do let others learn more about you and demonstrate they can trust you before asking how to enter a location.

Dear cinic

You are new here, you had 3 posts in total, regarding the same topic...

Maybe you just didn't want to loose yourself in "blablas" and go straight to the point ? But we need to know you a bit more...

It's like entering someone's place and go straight to the fridge saying "Hey cook me this for supper" when you don't know the people and the most important, they don't know you.

Ok you said hi,wich is polite.

If you would have read threads in the Quebec forum, you would have found a lot of hints ,even if most are in french...as images talk for themselves.

Welcome anyway and read a bit more,it helps !

Thank you Nel58.

I understand your point. Thank you for presenting it in a civilized manner. I understand some form of trust is needed when discussing UE. I just hate when people can not some respect, makes me very frustrated.

Best Regards,
Cinic

Dear Cinic,

the thing is we get newbies and "location shoppers" on an almost daily basis. Most of them are great and do read the "please read this first" as well as the "first, introduce yourself here" threads.

People that walks in here and post stuff like that makes me very frustrated as well. I believe it shows a serious lack of respect.

Of all the possible things, coming in and asking for access to a location in your first post, was pretty much at the top of the "do not do" list.

As you could be anybody, and anybody can read those tread, you must understand that giving information like thoose will lead to very quick close of locations entrances and possibly this forum.

All location were post here are always quickly trashed and closed.

As said by others, take the time to read other post, as they often contains important clues about all the information you need. And UE stands for urban Exploration ! So get out-there It’s all part off the fun!

Eventually when we will know you better it’ll be more easy .

But, as you just discovered, not reading the rules before posting is not a good idea.

Sorry for my bad English

Ti-Jeff

Well, Ill introduce myself in the introduce yourself section. Perhaps a misunderstanding for the entering the DOW part, I really dont need and info on how to enter, thats no problem. I just didnt feel like wasting my time finding out its gutted out from the inside, there are too many places to explore.

I don't really have a problem with new people asking if places they already know about are still accessible. We do the same thing from time to time if we know someone's been to a location recently. I think we need to keep in mind that when we shun new people for asking simple questions like this, we run the risk of looking a little hypocritical.

As well, when we simply brand new people as "tourists", we forget how many of us here rely on each other or the DB in order to find new places to explore. And how often do we see posts from established explorers announcing that they're going to be travelling to a certain city and that they'd like to be led around by the nose to visit places? I think we're all tourists from time to time. We shouldn't pretend otherwise.

Some people on this forum need to COME DOWN.

Let`s get this straight, mAze, why do you always hace to act like a pure dick to new forum members? This guy asked if the place was under renovation which is a totally legit question and you replied with a load of crap. I`m sorry but this is what we call TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT, not what cinic asked.
If you want uer to die, just keep acting like you do and we are on the good path.

Honestly, just read what you wrote and think about it.

I think we can call this thread done. Note that I did not say 'well done'.
