| | | Hey lads, I'm looking for people that want to go to Barcelona to do some UER. Here in the city there's not much abandonments but there're some interesting places that I want to check it out: 1. Casino de l'Arrabasada (mostly ruins, but there're tunnels and rest of an amusement park) 2. Old Sant Adrià termic power plant (now unused but very unaccessible). 3. Try to find some hidden tunnels in the Montjuïc hill, on the southern part of the city. There're some books that talk about tunnels that cross mountain from north to south. 4. An old factory in a (now) reforming district. Well, somebody has planned to go and visit the city? Give me a touch if you do so. Otherwise, I plan to go before and make a little survey at that places. Greetz.

| | | Now I've explored the old power station from the outside: There's a long wall around it, with barbed wire on the top, and some security cams pointing at a weak point of the wall (broken barbed wire). Then, under the fuel pipes that come from sea there's an unexplored zone, because I found a local 'spice' dealer there making dirty bussiness and I didn't want to get into trouble, so I stopped walking around there. I found also a door (maybe unlocked) but I have to return here to see what's next there (it has a little mail slot where I can put a mirror and see what's behind), maybe next day and with someone else. Any suggestions? I'm scared of finding out again the 'spice' dealer, I don't want to get into trouble, he may think I'm a cop on plain clothes or somethin' else. Maybe I'll post some pics to make a more visual idea of that place. Greetz.

| | | Ask to buy some chocolate. Up near Gueyy Park and the blue tram there's an abandoned metro station. Around Montjunk (yeah I know spelling) there's some small abandoned shacks in the pine forest on the north side of the hill. Real hard to find as I was lat there over 15 years ago.
Live your life like it really makes a difference. What have you done today to make you feel proud? John Lennon was a wise man. All the world living together as one. |

| | | Barcelona is my dream vacation. Not so much for exploring, as for skating. Its a skateboarding mecca. I would be down, but I don't have the cash flow.

| | | Okay, I can't open a new location as I'm a little new user but I'll post some pics from Sant Adrià Power station. Here you are, enjoy: That's from outside, in the right part there's the active power station: Then one of the entrance door, check the ugly wall + fence + barbed wire upside. Another shot:
And one more: Any ideas to get into there?!?

| | | Hm... the abandoned station exists, and is more near Sagrada Familia instead of Parc Güell. Station was called "Gaudí" and it entered out of order before the ampliation of the Line 2 (purple line). And the abandoned shacks you're talking about on the north side of the hill could be two things, or the extinct "Can Tunis" district, a very interesting and decaying slum, now dissapeared, or maybe the old "Polvorí" area, now restored and with a lot of public state-financedapartments. If it was 15 years ago... oh man that was on Barcelona Olympic Games of 1992! The city has changed a LOT since these days... We had abandoned buildings, more decayed industrial zones than ever (imagine an entire 10km^2 area to explore), even a pair of red-light districts, and citizen were happy because they were told that the city would be a better place to live. Now 15 years later, we maybe have a fancier city, but in most part sterile, expensive and boring if you don't have money to spent to, or a place to go.
