|  | | | Friday while taking a brief trip to Georgia I stumbled upon this right off the exit.The site consisted of a truck stop,BBQ restaurant,and two houses plus outbuildings.The were also a total of 7 abandoned cars scattered about.There were 5 older two-door Lincoln Continentals,a 60s Ford Thunderbird(I think),and a late 80s Lincoln Mark VI.I'm not really sure why there were so many places abandoned in such a small area but the beautiful sunset combined with the hulking buildings gave me some great photos and also let me try out my new S3,so enjoy.

I've noticed alot of people seem critical of locations that aren't major;so I'm just going to start keeping all of the small locations to myself and if a I find a major location I might post it.There aren't that many interesting locations around here that haven't been explored.I guess locations like this aren't worth my time.

it has nothing to do with "major" locations. There just isnt a lot of information in the composition of your photos other than seeing a bunch of rusty cars, which is rarely interesting.
And most of the major locations in georgia haven't been found nessicarily. Most people just dont know how to look. its more about the experience, not the location per se

Uh.. you kind of confused me there. How do you know there are major locations that haven't been found? Do you mean found by the masses or just not explored at all or what?

| | | | well, if you consider that up until 2 years ago atlanta was barely covered by an exploration community and it turned out that it had hundreds of locations to be seen, i think georgia and the south has a lot to offer if you're willing to look. every time I left town I found something new. There's industry in the north georgia mountains, hospitals in cities no one goes to, etc. etc. etc.
plus yes, there are locations that do exist that not everyone knows about.
