| | | Thanks I recently replaced the photo I had there for a long time with that new one. Looking at it again though it seems to be suffering from a little jpeg compression. *leaves to fix it*

| | | hey in underground bases for cali it lists Lawrence Livermore Lab as one.... which is most certaintly not the case. I toured there once. Quite a fascinating facility actually. They do most of their work on laser technology. Heh they had one laser which they were working on that shot through this tube with a bunch of mirrors so they could direct the laser beem. Apparently inside the tube it is completely sterilized. If the laser were to hit say a dust particle on one of the mirriors. it would blow a small hole in the mirror. They were also building their biggest laser yet, It looked bigger than an apartment building. In fact it was entirely seperate from the other buildings. If you ever get a chance to get a tour there I think yall would get a kick out of it. They might actually have the new laser done!

| | | Xinventions.com is a pretty cool place. They have some gadgets that may come in handy, also a forum where you can post any questions or requests for gadgets. [admin edit: fixing link --krazy] [last edit 1/1/2004 6:31 PM by MacGyver - edited 1 times]
<reuben> somebody keeps jiggling the doorknob on my front door, then running away <reuben> i don't know if i should call the police, or hook up some electricity to the doorknob <cristobal> why don't you put ice on the stairs <cristobal> and heat up the door knob <cristobal> and swing paint buckets down from your two story foyer <cristobal> then a few years later, fade from the public eye..... |
