| | | yeah, I saw some smart poor people over the rear fence of that place and they hopped the fence from turcot yards... they were collecting beer bottles (there are mountains of old bottles)

| | | 2-M Ressources Before that it was "Canadian Erectors" a plant where they were making oversized ventilation shafts There is some pictures of it at the "Les usines de St-Henri " exhibition at la société historique de St-Henri.
I heard vaguely that 2M Ressources might move eventually..(Aren't they all afterall ?)

This was taken a year and a half ago..but a month ago it was also like that. It's very strange because the ground is covered with glass powder..very smooth !Almost fun and comfortable to walk on

| | | (another uncanny Dunver connection) There was a guy in one of my film studies classes who made an "experimental" film on this site ( he had permission of course). It was a lot of hand held shots rolling over the piles of green glass with some defocused blips of the surroundings , such as huge hamster wheel type thing and very fast editing. And a Grateful Dead soundtrack. Was a pretty cool flick (though outrageously indebted to Stan Brackage) and ran about 7 minutes. His name was Lee and I haven't seen or heard of him in like 17 years! And of course I walk by this site almost every time I go to Turcot Yards which is very often. They have recently cut down some trees that run along the perimeter on the Turcot side. I was a bit concerned as it looked like it could be a sign of some bigger idea. I d like to think the trees were in the way of the glass piles because of recent activity patterns in their yard, but......
