|  | | | I have driven past this house on my way home from school for several years, I finally remembered my camera and had some time to stop and check it out. The area is subjected to floods constantly since its at the bottom of a large valley, I can't for the life of me figure out why someone would build a house here. It's quite obvious why the place was finally abandoned.

The barn seems to be in great shape, except for the roof.

There are a lot of holes that are easily seen from the inside.
|
The interior has been trashed, I hate seeing this.

The place has been flooded at least a few times, it's very close to a major river.
|
The whole basement is coated in rust.
|
Surprisingly, this is the backside of the house. I was able to park my truck out of site of the road.

There are a bunch of neat places in southern minnesota that I want to check out, including an old military installation. Feel free to message me if your in southern minnesota and want to do some exploring.

That Barn looks interesting with all the holes in the roof.
I definitely stop to explore old farm houses when traveling the rural highways.
I thought that place looked familiar.
