My thoughts on the Tony Hawk Helmet Cam

So as someone here suggested I bought the Tony Hawk Helmet cam for recording videos when I go UE'ing. My overall experience was nice, as I bought a 512mb SD card to give me a ton of recording time. The videos max out at 15 minutes a piece but it isnt that hard to press record again. I am going to try and affix an LED pen light to it for added lighting, as its pretty slow adapting in low light. I will try and post a sample vid here in the next few days if it would help ya'll. Best part its only $50 from ebgames.com

Hope this helps someone.

Not really per se....It has this lame "targeting laser" that is only on when you arent recording so that would be your indicator that it stopped. Yeah the price point sold me on it.

I pick up one of these at Circut City for $23.00 (Crazy discount). It was originally $120.00. It is higher quality than the Tony Hawk cam and can take stills or video. It also has TV out. The downside is it is much larger, takes twice as many batteries and the mounting hardware doesn't seem as stable.

If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy
