| | | * After posting this idea in an already off-topic thread I got mocked, still I would like to get an intelligent response. See thread: http://www.uer.ca/...rrpage=2&pp#post30 * I see a few locations in the LDB that are in Iraq but I see few pictures. I cannot be the only veteran who belongs here - there are 500,000 of us, there must be a few into UE. * I have seen and heard very little discussion of all the abandonment there is to see in Iraq and Afghanistan -- and there is a lot of it. * That said, does anyone have any pictures of Habbaniyah Airbase? How about the Baathist resort on Lake Thar Thar? There must have been 2 dozen formerly abandoned palaces and when I got in country, most of the bases were abandoned and bombed out. too Does anyone else have pics and stories? I have many and I will begin scanning and posting them as soon as I am unpacked! Most of my digital pics are of sunsets, landscapes, and silliness - unfortunately. * This forum is not the "World UE" forum, but it receives much more traffic - forgive me.
