|  | | | On early Saturday morning im going to be meeting up with mattsb2000 out in San Bernardino to check out a few locations. We plan on seeing a little bit of an old jet propulsion research center, an old trap and skeet shooting range, and a cool water diversion station up a dirt road. 4x4 is highly recommended. Im thinking about getting a room out there on Friday night so i can meet Matt early, im not sure yet. If anyone is interested, lets hook up!

I dont think itll be a safe idea to go ahead with the activities planned. Its supposed to be over 105*, the fires are getting closer, and the air quality will no doubt be horrible. Im also concerned about our safety being in canyon that takes 2 hours to drive in. Right now the fires are about 30-50 miles from where we plan to be. The fires should cover that distance by Saturday morning.
So any other ideas? Im considering staying down near the beach area if you guys want to come down. I can smell the fires from here btw.
