It was built for the further .City is more and more big, the subway also has to be big for the growing.When beijing built the subway in 80s last century,it built many like this station for the further used,and there offen have people to clean there,so, it has light and people.The railway in the last picture,
its on the right side.

Yikes. I'd never attempt to do that. Just aiming a camera at a soldier to take a picture of him in the Forbidden City got me one big yelling in Mandarin. I didn't understand a word, but him running and pointing at me with the camera almost made me crap my pants.

Despite all this "opening up to the West," you're guilty until proven innocent in China. Unless you're UEing "for the motherland." Hmm..
