By the way: do you know of any abandoned company towns for timber up there. I know a number of sawmills have been abandoned in the past 20 years or so.
Anything else interesting up there in Mendocino area? I'd be willing to drive for the right site.

| | | | Hmm the old Masonite factory is the only thing i can think of right off the top of my head as far as industrial factory stuff goes. I think its well worth the trip, It's gigantic and been abandoned for years now I'm pretty sure you can get an arial photo here:

There's also the Palace Hotel, I just found out that's a National Landmark. I'll be posting pictures of the palace and hopefully soon after masonite.

Ohhhhh... This is tempting to cancel my plans. I wish I could, but my girlfriend would be totally upset. Next weekend? I'll e-mail you and Yuichi before than to get an update on plans.
