| | | I was walking down St-Joseph last night and noticed that past the round-about there's a road that intersects with St-Joseph and at the bottom of the street, is what looks like an old abandoned school house or something. I hope to check it out within the next few days. Should take a while to get pictures though, no good digital camera. Only an old Nikon. Still good though ;)

| | | I was talking to Detroit, didn't seem like he was too sure of which building I was talking about. It's definitely worth checking out though, I haven't gotten inside yet, only toured around the outside. There is a large sports complex behind that is in plain view, so if you're going to attempt to get it, I suggest the side entrances. Everything is heavily boarded up though, on the outside and inside. Hmm, are most UE'ers against using crowbars to pry off wooden boards?

| | | crowbars? i am, personally, against it... it leads to much tighter security on sites, amongst other problems. if you get caught trespassing with a crowbar you're probably going to be arrested. if you're talking about the building i think you're talking about, there is a method of shimmying up a doorframe about four feet to get in through a hole - it requires some agility but not a whole lot. bring offerings for the squatters, lest they become angered.

| | | I've never had problems with running into squatters, they're usually friendly enough to give you time to explain, or time to light something up to share with them! I checked the place pretty thoroughly yesterday and couldn't find any way in at all. We even checked the roof and second floor windows. Everything is boarded up pretty tight. The building is right in front of a really large sports complex that has a glass wall with staircases behind it.

| | | Ahhh now I know what you are talking about. That is the old administration building for the Hull Iron and Steel works. Been there, done that. I think it is pretty well sealed up now. As for crowbars, I think they are great for taking off hubcaps.
