	Anybody else been to Brook Run? A group of friends and I went yesterday. It was pretty cool for my first UE experience. My friend brought his video camera, next time we do somethin like this gunna have to bring a still camera. Anyways, we entered into the front most part of the main building which goes right into the kitchen and gigantic walk-in freezers. Very creepy place to start out in. Then we walked into the very open and very tagged cafeteria. On the wall was tagged something like "Call Jenny for a good time" and had a number listed. My friend called and left whoever it was a message. We walked back outside and towards the loading dock which leads to the basement but we didn't go that way cause no one thought to bring a flash light. We entered again and walked around on what is considered the 2nd floor I guess if you count the basement as the 1st. We went back outside and then up the outer stairs to the 3rd floor (again, counting the basement as the 1st. I only say this because in all the info about this place say the 3rd floor is completely closed off/welded shut. This was very open.) So we walked around up there through all of the rooms. They locked like they used to be a common area for patients to hang out in. Each section was divided into two big rooms and then a bathroom in between and a little courtyard. This place had some of the most amazing graffiti I've ever seen. We were all the way down at one end, so we climbed out a window and walked across the metal roof to the other end. We went outside of the building and then around back at which point we entered into the basement level. It was friikin pitch black. We all brought out our cell phones, which was barely enough to light up the person's back infront of us. At some point while we were down here I saw the white truck driving off in the distance (our friendly facility security guard) We were all a little more careful about stuff now. Eventually we made it all the way to the end where there was an empty swimming pool (no water of course). We hung out for about a minute or two then made our way out of the building. We headed towards what I guess was lodging or separate patient rooms. These two buildings (we only went in one) were the most un touched of the facility. Most of the glass was still intact and there was very little graffiti. We left the building and somebody thought they heard the rent-a-cop. We were all quiet and luckily nothin was heard. So we carefully made our way around the side of the building. We peaked around and no car in sight. We dashed through the woods to what was a factory. We went inside and it was pitch black with no light coming in at all. Eventually we made our way across the floor and up the glass covered stairs up into the over-seeing office. We looked around in there, a bunch of paper work, some news papers date from 1998, coffee mugs and some weird liquid on the floor. The whole factory smelled pretty bad. We walked back out and then made our way to our vehicles and left. All in all it was very cool and I want to go back with a maglite or 3 and some still cameras. Atlanta - Dunwoody - Brook Run - in the back of the park is a gated off area, when inside go down the road and go in the building on the right. There is a huge abandoned building that was a home for the mentally challenged. There are various areas with temperature changes, an extremely strange aura to the place, and pictures will reveal orbs. cold spots on first and second floor, footsteps heard, doors open and close, and banging sounds on the walls. The most haunted is the 3rd floor it many believe a little boy hunts it.

IS that the 2nd floor above ground, counting the basement as the 1st floor or is there a part of the building we didn't go in that has a third floor?

	brook run is NOT haunted. at all. that said, i HAVE met and explored the place with the older brother of the kid that died there decades ago. and the place has a morgue. but the only thing inhabiting the morgue right now is a big pile of poop on the body tray. but yeah, brook run is the filthy slut of UE. anyone who's even remotely interested in exploration has been there. (in this area anyway)

	That is indeed a better pic, but I did the other pic to include the lodging and the factory. Next time we go we'll bring flashlights and explore more.

	This was the first place I fully explored. Never thought the place was haunted, but the wind was extremely fierce and kept slamming doors all around us... that and the deep howling winds blowing through just made it feel creepy.
