| | | One of the oldest, largest, and grandest buildings on the U of M campus, is unquestionably Angell Hall. Naturally, this makes it a prime spot to infiltrate. Unfortunately, I have had little luck, getting no further than the first basement, the door to a sub-basement, and the door to the steam tunnels, were both locked. The main appeal of Angell, though, lies in it's roof. Angell is a relatively tall building with a large flat roof with an observatory on top, so there obviously needs to be an easy way to get up there. I have found, at the top of a staircase, a ladder going up a wall to a scuttle hatch, but this was padlocked shut (probably in violation of the fire code). Does anyone have any other way to attempt to roof this building? Or has anyone ever roofed this building? Thanks.
Vote Democratic, it's easier than getting a job. |

Ditto on the caution - let's keep details to ourselves on private media. UM DPS is very unexcited about people exploring on campus already. I do know someone who roofed Angell, but I don't know any access info. I do know he got caught, though, so he's not going back anytime soon... My experience is that UM is usually locked up pretty tight. Persistence is key to gaining access. [last edit 12/21/2005 5:51 AM by n-rock - edited 1 times]
