| | | | | looking to meet UEers in western europe < on 10/15/2005 8:40 PM >
| | | hi, im taking off to amsterdam soon to bike around europe for the next 6 months. ill be traveling all over europe, and ive been heavily into UE for many years now. i run a website called www.squattheplanet.com, which has a bunch of UE pictures, but is mostly related to hitchiking and trainhopping stories. if you'd like to know more about me, check out my stories, as they cover most of the past few years of my life traveling and exploring: http://squatthepla.../author/matt-pist/ im a pretty chill and fun person, and im looking to meet up with people in various parts of europe to do some UEing with. if you live *anywhere* in europe and would be interested in meeting up, post here or email me. i don't have a specific path im taking through europe, so im up for going almost anywhere. also, if you're a full member, that would be great, as ive been on this site for years, but got locked out when the system changed as i dont get the opportunity to post that often, and it would be great if someone could recommend me after meeting me. also, would anyone like to recommend UE sites in europe? thanks!

| | | Hey there fellow hitchiker/traveler. I spent three months lurking in Europe, Eastern Europe & Morocco last summer but unfortunately, I didn't have time to do that much ueing. First, you HAVE to check out the Paris Catacombs. The feeling is unique and I swear, you'll be addicted. If you don't speak french, I'd suggest you look right here for someone to guide you underground (hint: Titan). Belgium has tons of incredible industrial sites. Lots of dutch-speaking Belgians also speak english, I know we have a few of them here. Berlin and eastern France are also a good ue destinations. And if you feel like going a little more south-east, I can't recommend you enough Sarajevo, both for exploring and for the city itself. http://www.uer.ca/...Bosnia-Hercegovina I'm pretty much hooked at your website right now, thanks for posting it!

| | | If you're spending any time in the UK, be sure to check out www.28dayslater.co.uk for both finding sites and meeting up to explore. It's by by far the most active and friendliest UK UE site.

friendliest? Thats a very colourful way of describing 28dl. To matt, if the UK does interest you. Id suggest you look a little deeper than the link wooble provides. There is more to UK exploration than a single web forum.

Lets not take any petty squabbles that people may have over one forum or another any further, I am sure that international peeps do not want to hear or even want to understand it. Yes there are other places to look all wooble was doing was providing a starting point! *edit cos I cant speel!!* [last edit 6/15/2006 12:11 PM by lilli - edited 1 times]
