|  | | | I am travelling to Paris this spring and I would like to visit the non-sanctioned underground portions of Paris. I have found maps and photos and have a rough route planned, but I'm hoping to find an experienced Parisian who will help me navigate. Anybody like that here?

| | | | No they won't. The French don't get half the Quebec expressions, and once they notice you have an accent they're patronizing. On top of that they use bastardized Frenglish idioms that make me ashamed. And I live in a bilingual country, so...
As for the catacombs: you can get a legal tour inside, but the fun is departing from the group and going into the forbidden areas. Of course this entails risk of getting lost, so maps are a big plus. Resist the temptation to steal a femur like my friend's dad, though.
