| | | You all have encoutered a motion sensor light. However have you ever encountered them while infiltrating a live building? Well aparently the whole building is rigged with these damn lights. I thought I was going nuts. Read the top story if you want the details. Just letting you know. http://www.uer.ca/locations/show.asp?locid=21530

| | | A lot of buildings on my campus have motion sensing hallway lights, it lets them save power when no one is in a particular hallway. The only time it's been a problem was in construction site on campus, the power was on and the lights were installed, but it wasn't occupied yet. Every time we'd walk past a room or a side hall the lights would come on, and it would be obvious to anyone watching that no one should be there late at night.

| | | The thing I'm curious about is if that kind of motion sensor is ever tied into an alarm system. My only point of reference is the art museum I work at, and I'm pretty sure that some or all of them are. But that's drawn from half-heard conversations and my own active imagination.

| | | you can paint over them, or put duct tape on some of them to reduced their effect, but you still need to move slower. there is a motion sensored camera, near one of my most beloved train yards, and it really......sux.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |
