I think you're right, TB. That was the first thing I started drooling over in your shots. I can't speak for that other Lowry site...yet.
Posted by AmcKidd Deer Trail is more complete, but totally trashed from what i can see- once we got past the powerhouse( Asbestos everywhere) the only smell in there was musty dirty, no Kerosene or Diesel in the air as i have heard some of the sites have if its at all possible, i plan on making a trip to Colorado- hopefully before it gets sealed up, but i AM a california sissy- spring or summer will be the time frame

More complete? How so? You're right; being the most easily accessible of the six Colorado Titans, it's definitely pretty trashed inside. Not that that makes it any less awesome. We've looked at potentially accessing a few of the other Lowry Titans this summer, but we need to acquire things like more rope and ascenders for those. Indiana Jones style entry appears to be our only option. Let me know if you get out this way in the summer, AMC. In case you're interested, here's a few articles I wrote about 725B (Deer Trail) - http://antennastoh...11/07/08/megatons/ http://antennastoh.../03/titan-i-remix/

i Seriously DO plan on visiting Colorado this spring/summer, AFTER the white stuff goes away- i am riddled with arthritis, and cold aggravates it In the powerhouse alone- deer trail still has a full mezzanine, which was only half there in the Cali site, numerous tanks of various usage, tons of piping that wasnt left in the Cali site- look at the silo pics of deer trail- lots of piping in there, and the catwalk near the top is there- i think one silo in cali had piping, other two were gutted to bare walls, catwalk and all! AWESOME read in those links, Thank You!, mind if i save it ? it seems everything Titan has a date to die, a lot have been taken offline, including the intensely useful Corpsfuds reports for California [last edit 2/10/2014 8:27 PM by AmcKidd - edited 1 times]
