Angel's House

Well, the weather was perfect for exploring today and everything seemed to come together just right so we met up and headed out to see what could be seen. Hit up a favorite old school with a tricky entrance and a beautiful exterior. It was nice to be back in there again, we found the mysterious room 101 still locked securely and still mysterious. Headed over to Hazardous Materials for a few shots and spent a good bit of time gawking at the many, many pictures of asbestos covered pipes and blueprints scattered everywhere. Had some spectacular pizza and than found ourselves at Angel's house. Angel unfortunately wasn't home so we spent some time reading the poetry he had written all over the walls there. I sure do love the hell out of reading schizophrenic poetry, damn good stuff. Lawrence from New Orleans was there however, friendly and happy enough to see us. We spent some time talking with him, very chill dude. The funeral home has people living in all the buildings now and at least one of them wasn't happy to see us so we called it a day and packed up. Feeling good to be out again.

Great photos Once-ler! The lighting in 11 is spot on and the angle and black and white in 15 are really strong. Here's a few of mine, thanks again for taking me out! 1.

I'd put my pictures up; however, these are some of the best photos of Once-ler's that I've seen since I've known him. And, of course, Ad Astra pretty much sealed the deal there. And since I somehow didn't actually start the thread this time (I was occupied), I don't see a point to diluting the quality here.

It was a good day though. I'm still rather put off that even though we managed to make it into Angel's place, they had ripped most everything out. Always a shame to see beautiful locations reclaimed by man.

Well thank you everyone, feedback appreciated. Bennet you are to kind, my shots do no justice to the spider monkey antics you preformed that day. Ad Astra I enjoy your #4 with the blue doors. This is a wonderful old Atlanta school left to ruin like so many others. The exterior is even better in the spring with the ivy climbing all over.
