Abandoned gas station

Anyone who has driven between Las Vegas and Reno knows this location. It's pretty well out in the middle of nowhere. I seem to find myself nowhere a lot... In an ironic turn, years ago my roommate used to work in the area and happened to be driving by the station as it was on fire.

As I was reviewing the photos and deciding which ones to upload, it occurred to me that this location tells its own story without my words getting in the way.

Although I've stopped at this station a number of times and have driven by many more, it always draws me back to see something new.

Well, she wasn't driving a white Dodge, so I guess not?

Nice diversification, Abby. Will be looking forward to more above-ground explores from ya.

Thanks all! I do enjoy the above ground, it's just most of my free time is mine exploring. This was a great couple of days with my son.

To make it perfectly clear, there was no trespassing involved. None. At all. Can you clarify your definition of trespassing?

I really like this place, seems like a lot of photographic potential. It kind of reminds me of The Hills Have Eyes type setting.

That is an interesting stretch of road along there. The brothel is just about 1/2 mile up the road too. I'm surprised that it is out in the middle of nowhere like that. Of course, guys get horny just about everywhere...

Love that such a small location can be so dynamic - I'll have to check it out soon.
