I created an Event for this event. I have no event stars, not because I haven't attended events, organized events, and led large group explores, only because they were not "Events". Fixed that.
Check out the Event under the Events menu, and RSVP (again sorry) if you're coming. The Event page is a perfect place to RSVP with what you'll be bringing to the potluck.
Current potluck contributors:
Seedy: Beers on ice
freeside: 2 pizzas and metal forks, spoons and knives
Fusspot: something (waiting to find out what)
Securing the museum cost me $150 with a cap of 25 people. The people cap is flexible if we behave, the cost is not. I previously mentioned that it would be $5 per person (standard museum entrance fee). This changes slightly if I can't reach $150. If I can't reach $150, I'll be asking for another $1 - $3 dollars extra from everyone, as needed until we get there.
Sorry for the monetary element to this. It's hard to find a venue where you can setup a projector and screen with 25 people in peace and quiet and not pay for it.

spitcool: Another motorcycle rider! Sweet, I ride everyday as 90% of my transportation. To that end, maybe a dessert of some sort that is backpack size, a box of cookies etc, and a little food money.
