Wow. I drove right past Mooar on W62 last night after dark and had no idea it existed. Then I find this thread after doing a search for "Keokuk". Thanks for making my day! I have a sneaking suspicion this section of the Mississippi (from Keokuk down to Cairo and everything in between) has more curious places to offer than meets the eye...I'm kicking myself for not getting interested in it back when I lived in Iowa.


Please come back soon! Your suspicions about this area would be correct. I've seen plenty of interesting locations from afar but don't feel safe exploring on my own (and my husband's first UE experience last summer may have soured him on the concept...see my post further up in this thread about the farmhouse).
