|  | | | I went to this place with a buddy of mine a few weeks back. It was a pretty fun trip...everything went pretty smooth. I think a lot of you guys in socal will recognize the area. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore the whole place though, probably on account of the helicopter that came searching for us about an hour in to the 'sploration. I'm glad to say, though, that my criminal record (or lack thereof) has stayed intact. Huge thanks to cdracingzx6r for giving os the goods on this place.

To be completely honest, having a helicopter circling over my head was pretty scary...they must have really not wanted us there if they sent a helicopter to chase us out. I'm happy they didn't find us as well. It was most certainly a cool place.

East Bay Regional Park District regularly patrols their parks and the water district lands by helicopter. It's not unusual for mountain bikers to get a talking too via loud speaker or for them to land and hand out trail poaching tickets.

Thanks! We'll be getting into the "sardine concentration camp" as well. Ethan took about half of these shots, then I edited and posted them...I'm glad you like them.
