(Yes, a 10-18mm zoom is coming. When all else fails, WIDER!)

| | | Nice! I've never been in the attic space. I really like the last view of the port. Got any more shots from that? -free

Same here. Never seen any shots of that attic before. I didn't know it existed. Looks like there are at least a couple of new bits of art since I was last there.

Unfortunately, no. I felt some raindrops, and decided it was time to pack it up.

I was actually scouting for an alt-POE. I figure if there was any opening between the attic and the great room, it would be easy to rap into it partway and assess for the rumored PIR sensors. Like other places I've been, I figured coverage would be partial, if even that. Alas, no such luck.

For me, the worst part was in the course of coming back down, and the very first act of getting over the banister... and turning around. Those two ladder rails are so close-set that it was very hard for me to turn around. I have three packs on (a camera pack, tripod pack and utility pack) and I would get caught/stuck. You can't just manhandle the obstruction, lest that rip open a pack/zipper and send contents flyng.

Thanks, D. Pushed a lot of data into the midtones (clouds notably) for that one.
