Thanks to Spacetimecurvature for mentioning this North Bay location to me. I'm not sure if it's ever been on the UER forums before.

I haven't located any information about these trains so all I can share are these photos.

It must've been on here. I've never been there, but I know where it is. What's on the tracks 1/2 mile or so south?

Cool place, for sure.

the colors in number 5 are a great capture, and I take it there were no numbers or markings on this train to identify it? I also like how you are always able to find something with graffiti on it, I've been seeing your flickr uploads for the past couple of months and it is definitely your specialty, in fact I would call you the graffiti expert.

Partime Wanderer, glad you made it out there and glad the wasps weren't bad for you. I couldn't go inside, the trains were crawling with them! I actually cloned lots of them out of my shots since they looked like dirty blobs on my lens. Bah.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

FastEddy - I didn't see anything South while I was there but I see what you're asking about on Google so I'm really curious to know whether there's something there. I might try and sneak back there again.

rescueme - I don't know anything much about trains so I wasn't paying attention to markings so I can't tell you anything about #5

Siper - The front engine (furthest from the road) is the most accessible. It has 2 wasp nests inside at the front near the controls. I didn't bother them and they didn't bother me but I would probably advise against going inside if you're allergic. There may be other nests that I didn't notice.

Wow great shots all, I've really got to drag myself up thataways...

In what seems like a previous life "back east" I actually worked for the railroad, so I love this sort of thing.

I'm about to lose my trains in Eureka. Apparently some big wig somewhere has bought them all up for a little museum he has goin'. Talk about a train fetish.
