| | | | Refreshing the beacon for any members in Germany. I'm in south Germany and I've been out of the game for too long. I've only visited one old RAF base in England since I've been in Europe, so it's time to gather a new team. German language skills are a plus.

I've been studying in Weimar for 6 months and will be here for next semester. I've done hardly any UE here due to uni but would love to pick up my game next sem.
I'm keen even for sites or meetups far away as I'd love to see more of Germany.
I'm hitching around eastern europe for the next 2 months so I'll be out of action until then, but please send me a PM

| | | | I was just in Berlin visiting a friend and happened upon an abandoned building while biking. As I was exploring it, an old man from the old folks home nearby stopped me and said that isn't the building I want to be looking at, the real gem was just up the street! He then told me the history of the hospital up the street in German, and that it will soon be demolished/re-constructed as something entirely different. If you are planning to go to Berlin and want to see it before it gets refurbished, let me know and I'll send you some details.
Anyhow, there's definitely plenty of abandoned buildings throughout Germany, my first explorations were there as a child in old towers on hillsides in Bavaria
