|  | | | I haven't been over to look, but apparently they're going to be starting demolition on what's left of Hooven Allison soon, if they haven't already. They're planning on having engineers check out the stack to see if it's stable enough to save as a landmark.
There was an F4 tornado in 2000, but it was nothing like the monster in 1974 that almost took the whole city off the face of the earth.

| | | | Too late, it's toast. Active demo site. Stack was apparently determined unstable and will be toast as well. Full site work completed by March (ground toxins cleanup is the last part it looks like).
