Took a drive down to Selma, AL.

I didn't want to flood the board with *too* many images, so if you go to my flickr or my signature link, there are more, if you are interested.

I guess I could throw a few of mine in too. There was a ton of stuff in Selma to explore.

Selma is almost directly west of Montgomery, about a third of the way to the Mississippi line from Montgomery.

Selma sucks... except for exploring. Everything seems used up and dilapidated.

Really liked the pictures, the mayor is trying to allocate funds to improve the city and its riverwalk, thats what I read recently. But thats the story of most small towns. Is that a textile mill in the first set of pictures?

The first pictures are of former military housing, then it switches to an abandoned karate dojo... After that it switches to a former train depot converted to warehouse, since abandoned. After that is a foundry of some sort.
