Many questions still surround this site, even after I've walked through it multiple times. If you can recall, there was something similar to this that I posted last year. It was further investigated by B&C (thank you). A door leading into a hillside makes me wonder, could this be a potential new bunker that none of us have gotten into yet, or is it only a utility shed? What of the yellow building, maybe a former pump house? And by the way, someone left the water running down the hill in an overgrown shack, fresh water was pouring out of a pipe inside the last time I checked.

@Siper
@JK
I've briefly discussed this location with the two of you just in case you were wondering what was actually there. It might call for a return trip.

Interesting how it looks like air handling ducts going into the ground. Definitely hardened for some reason. As to underground levels? No idea, but it appears there might be.

What kind of lock is on it? If it's keyed, is there a number stamped on the lock?

Sounds like Rail beat you there.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

I didn't look at the lock closely enough to be able to give you any useful information about it. I think it had a PG&E meter tag on it as well. The running water was reported to SFWD so no one needs to worry about all of hetch hetchy being drained.

Yup. Seems like toilets and running water fascinates him. O and fire, if I didn't know better I would say he's a caveman trapped inside a douche's body.

LOL!

rescueme1060, I'm really curious what this is all about. Thank you for sharing what you have. I want to know more. Any way to look up information via the county/city?

Hey rescueme I'm pretty sure that's either a communications bunker for like phone routing or it's an underground water storage tank! I have a new spot that's a coastal defenses bunker and it's open!!! I'm going to post pics of it tonight and would love to show you it. I PMd you my phone number awhile back from when we met at the norcal meetup.

I think you are right, although the door is locked if you put your flashlight through the hinges you can see a wide open room inside the hillside.This is why I still have so many more unanswered questions about the land.. Could there be a ladder that leads underground? Could the entire site be inter-connected below ground? Who knows....but this is what makes it so intriguing.

I've tried searching the internet but I haven't turned anything else up. I've been withholding this post for a few months...this might call for library research of public records or actually going down to city hall...

I've been told that there were once horse stables on the site, I wasn't able to locate them. And without that door being unlocked I don't know if its worth anyone's time to go back, unless you wanted to take pictures. I will be going back to see if SF Water followed up on the report we filed. Lots of water being wasted...unless they are doing it on purpose?

Are there any gaps? I have a snake-cam that can be put a small opening. But lighting is weak on that unit.
