Not illegal to own. Illegal to carry in public. Like a gun. Anybody can buy one, but if you walk in a store with it in ur pocket ur breaking the law.

If im gonna carry a club, Maglite. A 4,6 or 8 will do just fine & legal to carry in every state. + they are a flashlight(duh), so that is always a handy thing when exploring too.

Just give up.

I just bring my hands. If that's not enough, there's usually plenty of things around at the location.

Sometimes I fashion my granola bars into shivs. You can stab a mufukkah, then eat the evidence at snack time;)

Only on solo missions to iffy location, I'll pack pepper spray.

Got it in the states, it's illegal here in Canada and I really couldn't care less. I'm sure if I got caught and searched (which is a long shot here), the cops would prob think I'm wise to carry it (before confiscating it of course).

Well the police will ask you where you got it: you don't want to know what happens when you rat out your (weapons) dealer.

As you might know, sellers are can sell automatic knifes, but you can not carry one, unless you are a LEO.

So even when a dealer can sell it, he won't get in trouble because you carried it around.

Bingo. Just because I sell you a gallon of gas doesn't make me at fault if you use it to burn down a school.

this isn't the same thing for i could walk down the road with a gallon of gas and not get stopped... but good try on this.

and then there's a comment about a gun that's why u need a permit.. saying this baton is illegal would be like telling me its illegal to pick up a steel rod i found on the rode and carry it around... but think what u like the worst that will happen will be a slap on the hands and ill lose it wooo that's a big deal.

I may not always be right, but I am never wrong.

No law prohibits carrying a stick. If you shape and polish the stick, it is still a stick. i am done with this now...

Um or you get arrested and charged with possession of a weapon. Are you really this ignorant?

Actually picking up old metal from the ground in order to dispose it as needed isn't against the law.

Never heard about Cache in and thrash out?

Or, if in the right circumstances (like an abandoned/unused building) you look like a scrapper. Also, depending on circumstances- cops can be very unfriendly, holding a weapon of any kind will make that much worse.

Law enforcement will not just take it away if they find it and let you on your merry way. Pepper spray is designed to use on humans and is classified as a prohibited weapon. If bear spray, which is LEGAL in Canada, is punishable by up to $500,000 fine and jail time up to 3 years if it's use causes a risk of imminent death or serious bodily harm to another person, I wouldn't even want to imagine what the penalty would be for having pepper spray on you. At least get yourself a can of bear or dog spray, which is just as effective on a human if you really feel a need for it.
