First rooftop

This is the first time I've ever found access to a rooftop...mainly because it's the first time I've ever searched. I wish it could have been at night but every time I race over there after work I find the doors locked.

C&C welcome, wouldn't be here if it wasn't.

1 is just a tiny bit plain, but the other two are incredible.

Second rooftop, I never ever shoot at night and have also never [as I see it] "officially" done this until now. So C&C would be highly appreciated ;)

I think in your original post, the only problem with #1 is that the horizon line is basically in the middle of the picture, poor composition. Remember thirds. It probably would be just as great as #2 & #3 if there was less sky and more river and stuff.

As for the night ones I love #1 - 3. I feel #1 could be a bit crisp-er? Maybe there was slight camera shake or maybe it was just a weird angle on the reflection. #4 & #5 are missing a WOW factor that I just dont know but they are still good pictures =)

2-5 are absolutely perfect. As pointed out, 1 is way off. Dunno if you were just standing at rest and you accidentally hit the shutter, or if you did that on purpose.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Not sure with 1 if you guys mean the angle or the focus? The wobbly odd look is just the way the windows reflected, and the angle was just a unique take. I didn't want to do it straight on [for the novelty] and any lower or further to the sides would have framed the ground or sky, I was going for just windows.

Define crisper?

Edit: They're all HDRs by the way.

Crisper is just another word for sharper. Now that youve explained I think it might just be the way the windows reflected because of the angle it was taken at, it just kinda looks like its shaken or out of focus a bit. I still love it for some reason! Its different.

Ah, I see. I figured you meant sharper, I was just confused because it is actually quite clear. I liked the wonky look to it...but the damned wall to my left prevented a more dramatic dutch angle.
