It takes away from the subject. I'm diggin' how that clock is showing it's age though. It's just not very interesting...I'd only suggest a unique take on it. Try getting low down so it seems more significant. I also would have preferred the window handled differently, maybe either left out [by moving the chair] or by getting more of it. I'm also a stickler for level shots. Of course these are just my preferences.
