| | | I am prepared for any constructive criticism you may have for me! General or HDR related. I know some people aren't a fan of HDR, but those of you who may have any tips for me please let me know. What can I improve about my shooting technique or post-processing to make them have that more surreal look?

| | | I think your getting it. Most are subtle which I think works better than being "over cooked!" I don't know if this is a working up skills in phases kind of thing, but maybe next start to worry about composure, lines, ect. For example 4 is fairly crooked, and a quick check on your stance and shooting angle could have squared that right up resulting in a much better shot. But I know you primarily asked about HDR, so I don't know if the other elements are a priority or not.

| | | I thought the crooked'ness of 4 worked, but I find the yellow, and red in some of these photo's to be a little over saturated. I like the how subtle the hdr processing is in this set thought. Great stuff.

| | | 2,and 6-9 are pretty awesome. Some of the others (mostly 3-5) were inching into clown-vomit territory, you might wanna dial back the saturation of some of the colors a smidge. Excellent work though, I want a print of #7 for my wall. I feel like the composition on #1 isn't that strong-it feels a little off-balance to me.

| | | yea, #7 is my favorite as well. I was looking for any kind of advice, HDR or composition related, so thanks. I agree about #1, I just don't know what I should have done to make it better. [last edit 2/12/2012 1:46 AM by AmsC37 - edited 1 times]
