If you're not going to eat it or use the skin...
Anyway I think they've been hunted to extinction up your way.

Want something to kill? Try fire ants, and it's all good because they're an invasive species. You'll love their sting, it just keeps going, and going.

Your security measures were inadequate.
How unfortunate for you.

Well arson works great if you want to destroy everything.

You could just leave the little spiders be, and enjoy what you came to do.

How unfortunate for you.

These guys own the north end of Halifax. Rumour has it they came from the Fairview Cove Container Pier.

A gang of them took a run at a friend's flat. I took'em out.

I've been bitten/stung by fire ants, they really don't look like much. They're small.
If you don't notice them on you they will take their stinger while biting with their mandibles, go in a circle, and make about 16 small stings.

They like to get in between your fingers, but will attack in unison if a one releases it's alarm pheromone and there is more than one on you. The stings is worse than poison ivy, and takes about 3 weeks to heal if you scratch it open. They leave scars that take months to go away even if you don't scratch it.

When I run into stuff like that I find the most logical thing to do is kick the door in, steal all the copper in the building, burn it down so innocent people dont get killed by black widows, take a dump on the ashes then tag the area around it.

I keep them as pets inside jars. Freaks out friends fairly often. Yes, a macro lense is a great idea.

Burn it first, then steal the copper, and don't leave DNA evidence.

http://animal.disc...a-black-widow.html

This is a video about a kid who was bitten by one of those buggers. He describes it as "excruciating pain" and after a while he just fell to the ground because his leg got numb. Yet, it is stated explicitly that people only die of a bite in rare cases.

So, if you find one, I would say you try not to piss it off. If it's in the way of your exploring though, you could try to remove it like people have said before me.

I too was wondering why they painted black widows on blacked out windows.

I always wear leather gloves when I go into a building, so I don't care so much about spiders. If they are in the way, take a piece of wood and give them the chance to be transferred.

If it's a rattle snake, I will make sure it won't go anywhere after, but this is only personal preference.

Oh and I read the death rate is about 5% without medical treatment and 0.2% with proper treatment.

I'm a little late, but maybe shining a light on them will make them go away. It seems like they're more aggressive the more you 'stir them up'. So I wouldn't mess with them. Just keep an eye on them. How sure are you they're even black widows? Also, if they are there, then they're probably through out the building also..

Nail polish remover + matches = instant bug death. It works on ants.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.
