All are nice shots!

#1 is a sweet pic. Crazy how shiny the doorknobs look in the midst of that peeling paint. Out of curiosity, what did the label on the second door say?

#2 Is this ever-so-slightly crooked? Regardless, nice shot. Can you pull any more detail out of the windows?

3# Love it.

#4 is my least favorite. It looks well executed, but it's just not my style.

Not much c&c there, I guess.

Doesn't everyone take a briefcase-sized camera with them?

Awesome!

I like your shots - the processing is well done. I assume these were bracketed and blended?

thanks for the comments old_eng!

i dont know what the second door says, all of my photos of those doors were focused on the first with a very shallow dof, so i cant read the second door...

you dont? I use it as my back up.

#1 - i like the depth, but the knob stands out to me (haha insert awesome joke here)

#2 - it is very slightly tilted, I would personally like it with alittle more light, but then the window would be blown out.

#3 - Love the TV being in this shot.

#4 - Absolutely love it, but the bottom corners are black if im being picky, so thats my only gripe with it

Great work though. Keep them coming

my criticism...sell the 1D. Use the money to buy a 7D, a bunch of DMT, and a plane ticket to Bali. Smoke all of the DMT. photograph your ensuing conversation with Ganesh and then post those shots in the critique section.

Seriously, why do you have a 1D? Not to be a dick at all but people post similar results with a Rebel. The photos are fine but I would expect a 1D to poop out fine art.

but its not the camera that creates a great photo.
Some people have the cash to buy a 1D so if you can afford it, why not?
and how do you know this person doesnt use the 1D for some other form of photography?

Theendof93, I love that shot of the house on fire in your flickr stream

1: Is ever so slightly dark. I personally would have backed up a little. but not bad.

2: I would brighten the walls a little.

3: is good

4: looks ridiculous and fake. Way too contrasty, color shifted and weird.
